The revitalised Duncannon Village Group is proud to announce the completion of three large wall-art murals onsome buildings down by the quay.

The group, which has grown in numbers in recent times, worked with local people and Wexford County Council to bring much-needed colour and interest to the harbour area. The positive reactions from around the village have encouraged the group, who are now looking at ideas for more murals in various locations.

In bringing this project to such a successful conclusion, thanks go to the very talented artist, James Kirwan, who created the designs; Ali Downes for his permission to paint on the winkle shed; Eoin & Carmen Bates for their permission to paint on the gable end of their building; Mark Meyler for his preparation of the walls; Wexford Co Council for their funding of the project and the tireless help and advice provided by Elizabeth Howard, Creative Communities Engagement Officer with the Creative Ireland, Wexford Programme.
